NYC Street Photography Workshops

SNYC's Street Photography Workshops are a popular way for visitors to NYC and New Yorkers to learn the techniques and skills of street photography and explore the city.

Shoot New York City's street photography workshops are a popular way for visitors to NYC and New Yorkers to learn the techniques and skills of street photography while exploring one of New York's exciting urban neighborhoods. Workshops are regularly held throughout the year and you'll find the upcoming workshops below. If you're visiting NYC and there isn't a workshop scheduled for the day you would like to take one, a personalized walking photo tour might be for you! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you require any further information. Yes, gift certificates are available.

Bushwick Street Art & Creative Photography Workshop

This is a 4 hour street art photography workshop held by photographer, Leanne Staples. We explore some of the fabulous street art and curated walls while also working on a number of creative techniques (including intentional camera movement) that can be used to produce photo-based art. We are usually able to capture some street photography while there. But it isn't the primary focus. The workshop is designed for photographers of all levels. We spend the entire time on the street shooting, discussing and reviewing. All digital cameras are good for the workshop and if you have further questions about equipment you can email me.

This workshop takes place in Bushwick, Brooklyn and is limited to 5 people. We leave from Grand Central Terminal by subway to the workshop location.

The workshop runs rain or shine with the exception of extreme weather. Come with an open mind, fully charged batteries, empty memory cards, wear comfortable shoes and prepare for the weather. You can find more information and reviews of my tours at Shoot New York City
