Ask a Local

Ask a local - a New Yorker! So you’re having difficulty figuring out where you are or how to get where you want to go or even where to eat. Just ask a New Yorker. New Yorkers tend to be very nice and very helpful!

Don’t be afraid to ask. You could also meet some interesting people and experience what New Yorkers are really like! I can't imagine that you would want to return from your trip and not meet any New Yorkers! And of course, you can always ask a New York City police officer. When I take my clients on a tour of the city, I often start conversations with locals on the street so you can experience it too!

If you're looking for a place to eat, shop or a good cup of coffee, check out my new blog Discover New York City. For now, if you find yourself near Times Square and you're looking for a good meal I suggest Restaurant Row on Ninth Avenue. I do NOT suggest most of the businesses in Times Square! I'm sorry to say that for the most part, they are all tourist traps.
