What to expect from a Tour Guide. It is always good to choose a licensed New York City Tour Guide. Most tour guides will pick you up from the airport or at your hotel if you request it.

You should expect them to be polite and take your goals into consideration. I provide custom itineraries. That may not be the case for all tour guides. In my opinion they should also provide comfort, information, history, amusing facts, suggestions and show you the NYC that New Yorkers experience.

AND if you book a private tour it should always be provided at a pace that is comfortable for you. Tipping is customary if you enjoyed your tour.
