"NYC with Leanne Staples - Into photography? Want a fun few hours in NYC? I recommend you do a phototour with Shoot New York City. I did an afternoon walk through some of the East Village, Bowery, Nolita and the Lower East Side. I wasn’t wanting Leanne to teach me how to use my camera, but it was illuminating for me to learn from her about street photography. Her suggestions on composition and her approach to taking candid photos of people we came across were pure gold. It was fascinating hearing her talking about the history of some of the buildings and places. There is so much you would miss just walking the same streets by yourself. Leanne is friendly, relaxed and very comfortable to be with. This is not your corporate big group tour, more the local independent guide who knows and loves what she does.
