I spent a few hours with Leanne in New York on a street photography workshop. It was an amazing experience! She is a wonderful instructor and really helped with expanding my horizons as to what constitutes street photography.
She didn’t just go over the technical aspects, but the more important philosophy and creativity that make street photography what it is. She knows SO MUCH and shares it all. I learned about the philosophy and history of street photography. Discussed different approaches and classic photographers of street photography.
She went over the ethics and legal aspects of street photography. My focus was on the street photography, but it was clear she knows New York as well and made some great recommendations for places to go! If you are visiting New York and you’re bringing your camera, you have to take her street photography class even if you don’t aspire to be street photographer.
