Walking Photo Tours and Street Photography Workshops in NYC

Group Street Photography Workshops

SNYC's Street Photography Workshops are a popular way for visitors to NYC and New Yorkers to learn the techniques and skills of street photography and explore the city.

My group street photography workshops are a popular way for visitors to NYC and New Yorkers to learn the techniques and skills of street photography while exploring one of New York's exciting urban neighborhoods. Workshops are regularly held throughout the year and you'll find the upcoming workshops below. Each neighborhood has different characteristics and we use different styles of shooting and every workshop is different. If you're visiting NYC and there isn't a workshop scheduled for the day you would like to take one, a private tour or photography workshop might be for you! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you require any further information. Gift certificates are available too!

This is a 4 hour street photography workshop in Coney Island, Brooklyn and it is limited to 5 people. We spend the entire time on the street shooting, discussing and reviewing. No matter what your level of experience is, amateur to professional, there's something for everyone. All digital cameras are good for the workshop. And film works too! There is a brief online portfolio review to be scheduled after the event.

The workshop runs rain or shine with the exception of extreme weather. Make certain to have fully charged batteries, empty memory cards, wear comfortable shoes and prepare for the weather. You can see some of my recent street photography on my site.

Note -  The roundtrip travel time is approximately 2 hours. We spend 4 hours in Coney Island.
